Costa Blanca Confidence
Privacy notice — version July 2026

Short, and without small print

Who is responsible?

Costa Blanca Confidence is an initiative of Nick Van de Velde. For anything concerning your data you can reach me directly at leads@costablancaconfidence.com.

What data do we process, and why?

The calculator itself runs entirely in your browser: what you enter about your home is only sent when you press the button to request a valuation. At that point we keep: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), the property details and figures you entered, and the calculated indication. We use these solely to contact you personally about your selling plans — which is exactly what you consented to (art. 6.1.a GDPR).

To prevent abuse of the form we also keep a pseudonymised derivative (hash) of your IP address, from which your IP address cannot be reconstructed.

What we don't do

No newsletters without separate consent, no sharing or selling of your data, no advertising trackers and no analytics cookies. The site sets no cookies for visitors and loads no fonts or scripts from third parties.

Where is the data held?

The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database and email forwarding); leads arrive in the mailbox of Nick Van de Velde. Cloudflare acts as processor under its standard data processing terms.

How long do we keep it?

Your data is deleted no later than 24 months after our last contact. If you ask for deletion sooner, it happens right away.

Your rights

You can request access, correction or deletion at any time, withdraw your consent, or object — one email is enough. If you are unhappy with how I handle that, you can complain to your supervisory authority: the GBA (Belgium), the AP (Netherlands), the ICO (UK) or the AEPD (Spain).
